OUR MANAGEMENT TRAINEE PROGRAM

American Car Center is offering a Management Trainee program to young professionals and/or college graduates designed to prepare you for your professional career. We have the same goals. You want an exceptional job, and we want a dedicated employee-partner to join our team and lead our company. American Car Center is currently seeking a Management Trainee to participate in an extensive, well-structured training program designed to provide a strong knowledge of all aspects of our business. The Management Trainee program combines a series of rotations in various departments with the purpose of preparing the individual for a leadership role in the area that maximizes their strengths and career advancement potential. Upon completion of the program, the Management Trainee will be eligible to move into a Sales Manager position. Our Management Trainee program is available at all of our locations.

Responsibilities

 

DAILY SNAPSHOT        

  • Lead, inspire and coach team members to achieve sales and performance goals and provide continual development opportunities along the way
  • Interview prospective employees and manage our hiring process from start to finish – ensuring they have an exceptional onboarding experience
  • Manage and monitor scheduling and hiring needs to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained
  • Coach team and provide guidance regarding effective approaches to problem-solving operational needs and addressing employee concerns

Qualifications

THINGS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree (or can obtain within 6 months) or an individual with equivalent life experience, an active driver’s license and are at least 21 years of age
  • Degree in Business, co-op/internship experience in customer service, sales, or administrative role preferred!
  • Prior leadership experience or related extracurricular activities preferred as well – and the willingness to relocate regionally during, or at the end of, the program!
  • You must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work Saturdays.
  • You have the ability and willingness to travel to support multiple regional dealerships.
  • You inspire others and are a natural leader and a great role model for your team.
  • You have an optimistic outlook and embrace positivity, determination, and looking on the bright side.
  • You’re constantly providing a “WOW” customer experience by going the extra mile!
  • You show initiative and proactively take action to close sales.
  • You don’t waste time and strive to deliver solutions for our customers.
